Chinese Electric Auto Rickshaw coming to Kerala soon

A Chinese company ‘Romai Electric Vehicles based in Shanghai introducing Tricycles in Kerala market. Keralitis are familiar with electric bicycles, but it will be the first time the Electric Tricycle in Kerala. Price and engine capacity of Electric Auto Rickshaw is also given here.

Keralitis are familiar with electric bike and bicycles but it is the first time they may be able to travel in an electric Auto Rickshaw. Compared to diesel and petrol Auto Rickshaw the cost of Electric Auto Rickshaw is very less.

A Chinese company 'Romai Electric Vehicles is introducing tricycle in Kerala roads. They have various electric products including Electric Bicycles and Tricycles. The representatives of Chinese company already made test drive in Kerala roads using Electric Tricycle. They are planning to launch their product in Kerala within two months.

Cost of Electric Tricycle is very less compared to Diesel and Petrol Auto Rickshaws. The expecting cost of this Chinese Electric Auto Rickshaw will be Rs.40000 to Rs. 50000 and it will run up to 80 KM in single charge.

The engine uses in Tricycle is more than 200 watts capacity. The Chinese company 'Romai' will first launch the Electric Tricycles in Kerala and then extending it to other states of the country.

Around three containers of Electric Tricycles and spare parts are waiting for the approval of transportation from China to Kerala. It will launch soon.
