CBI officer Haridarth committed suicide

The CBI officer P.G. Haridath had committed suicide on Thursday by hanging in his bedroom in his house at Njarakal, Cochin. His friends and relatives believes that he had committed suicide due his pressure over job. According to them the CBI officer P.G. Haridath was unhappy with his job and was planning to resign. He was very sincere in job.

P.G. Haridath was the son of Late Gopalan and Nirupama of Padinjarelcut house in Nayarambalam. His father, who was participated in World War II died three years ago. His mother Nirupama died on Friday morning, six hours after the death of P.G. Haridath. Both were cremated in the compound of their house on Friday evening.

The CBI officer P.G. Haridath who was investigating the sensation Sampath custodial murder case. According to the latest news revealed, his superiors were putting pressure on him regarding the investigation of this murder case. As per P.G. Haridath's suicide note found near his body, he committed suicide due to his work pressure.

An advocate and a magistrate of the Trivandrum CBI branch were also included in the Sampath Custodial murder case. The suicide note of Haridath expressed that these two officers forced him to do everything in this case and he was trapped by them. He was on medical leave for a month and was undergoing treatment for depression. He confirmed the involvement of B.S Muhammed Yasin and Vijay Aakhare in the Sampath murder case.

In this case while investigation he was suffering pressure from various sources including his senior officers some times he had even acknowledged it in the public. Sampath, who was the utmost accused in the Puthur Sheela murder case and he was allegedly tortured to death while in police custody in March 2010.
