Amrita Film Awards 2012 on May 5 at 6 PM

As we all know 2011 is a year of new trends in Malayalam film. That gives a handful of film created a new wave in Malayalam film industry. The Amrita film awards goes to the best among those film by finding the excellent contribution and recognizing it by giving award. To encourage the film makers to make variety of film with different concepts. Chappa Kurish and Salt N pepper were honored as the best film award from Amrita TV in the year of 2011. The best actor award went to uperstar Mohanlal for his acting in the film Pranayam. The best actress award was won by hindi actress Jayaprada for her excellent performance in the same film. The best award for the director was bagged by Renjith for his film Indian rupee.

The lifetime award for achievement was given as honour for the famous playback singer P. Jayachandran by considering his contribution to Malayalam film industry. The famous actor Thilakan gets honoured by getting best character role award for his performance in the film Indian rupee. The old heroine Sharada also got honoured for the character role she played in the film Nayika. The noted actor Prabhu deva was also honoured for his contribution in films. He received the award as the versatile personality in Tamil. Dileep bagged the popular actor award for his performance in 2011. The famous heroine Kavya got the same award in female category. The emerging superstar Prithviraj won the Yuva keerthi Puraskara award from Amrita TV film award 2011. Popular actors Biju Menon and Manoj K Jayan bagged the award for the best supporting actor for their entertainment performance in the film Seniors. By the way in the female category Lena bagged this award for her performance in the film traffic. This is really a good encouragement for her return to Malayalam film. This years family hero award is go for the Padmasree Jayaram for his good roles in the family related films.

Jayasurya bagged the best entertainer award for his performance in the film Beautiful. Vijayaraghavan won the award for best villain for his performance in the film Veneesile Vyapari. A team lead By Santhosh shivan in the back of film of Urumi bagged the award for the best innovative producer of the year. This award is a new category in Amrita film awards. The emerging stars Unni mukundan and Karthika earned the award for the new faces in the respective category. The best youth pair award went to Asif Ali & Mythili for their fare performance in the film Salt N pepper. Lal & Shwetha menon also entitled the award best on screen pair for the same film. Best child actor award went to master Siddharth for his nice performance in the film Orma mathram.

In Music category Karthik won the versatile singer of the year. Unni Menon was honoured the best singer for his song in Beautiful. In the female category Manjary bagged this award for her song in the film Urumi. The emerging and eminent music director Bijibal scored the best music director for the year from Amrita TV for his songs in the film Salt N Pepper. Aashiq Abu, Sadanandan Rangorath, Debobroto Mandal, Tahir, Listin Stephen, Joemon John, Rajesh Pillai, Sanjay, Bobby, Anoop Menon, Mahesh Narayanan and V.K.Prakash are the others who bag the award from Amrita TV for their excellence in the technical categories.

The great event of Amrita film award 2012

Amrita film award 2012, the great event will be commemorating on Chandrashekharan nair stadium Trivandrum, one of the largest open stadium in Kerala in an spectacular ceremony on Saturday 5 th May at 6 Pm. Illuminate the gallery with the presence of famous personalities from the silver screen including Mohanlal, Jayaram, Dileep, Jayapradha, Biju Menon, etc. There will be presence of Tamil superstar Vijay. The eminent singer Karthik will lead the musical party of this ceremony. There available variety of arts to enlighten the show beautiful than that of the previous one. This will be a spectacular show under the star.
