After the super hit movie ‘beautiful', they are joining hands in the upcoming Movie ‘Trivandrum Lodge'. The movie is a complete fun filled ride wigth no element of sentiments or violence. The film began its shoot on April 22, 2012 in a building near Customs Jetty at Fort Kochi. Other locations selected for this movie are Mattanchery and Trivandrum. Through this movie Anoop and Jayasurya hope to make another hit like ‘Beautiful'.
The movie ‘Trivandrum Lodge' is telling the story of lodge mates who has been staying away from their families for years. All the characters in the movie have equal importance. The Malayalam superstar actors Anoop Menon and Jayasurya will be in the lead roles. Jayasurya plays the role of Abdu who is one of the member in the lodge. Abdu is willing to do any job for living. At the same time he is a masseur at spa and a driver of Ravisankar. The role of Ravisankar is handled by Anoop Menon. Ravisankar is the owner of Lodge. The Lodge Owner Ravisankar is living with his father, wife and son. Bhavan will play the role as his wife. Veteran playback singer M. Jayachadran will be acting in Trivandrum Lodge after 'Nakhakshathangal' and 'Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback'. In Trivandrum Lodge he gives life to the father of lodge owner (Anoop Menon). The famous Malayalam script writer P Balachandran is also playing a role in Trivandrum Lodge. He will be in the role of a retired clerk from the secretariat and also one of the member staying in the lodge. Other lodge mates include a cinema reporter (Saiju), a pianist (Janardanan), and a film maker (Arun). Sukumari also plays a lead role in this movie as the mess owner of lodge. Daddy Cool fame Dhananjay will play character role as the son of Lodge owner. Initially the actress Padmapriya was chosen to play the female lead, but later the role was given to Honey Rose. Her full name is Dhwani Aka Honey Rose. She has already done two movies in Malayalam ‘Uppukandam Brothers Back in Action' and ‘Boy Friend'. In Trivandrum Lode, Dhwani plays the role of a writer.
