Abbas Hasan, a Canadian-born, Paris-raised, London-based Pakistani singer performs the lead role in this film. The role was first decided for the Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Asif, but due to a scandal, he was replaced by Pakistan opening batsman Muhammad Hafeez. But later Hafeez was also replaced due to busy schedule of the cricket match for his country giving Abbas a chance in the movie. Archana Kavi led the female character of this film.
