Jayasurya is a well established young actor in malayalam movies. He has been playing variety characters during his career. He has started his career as a mimicry artist and later shifted as busy actor in malayalam movies. He has been passing large distance in acting in mini screen. Dual Sim is the directorial debut for the young actor. The film Dual Sim has been visualizing the short story "Pranayame Ninte Chankootam" penned by the director Jayasurya himself. The film has been revolving around the talk of a lady in a phone. Actors are not visible in front of the camera is the specialty of this five minute short film Dual sim. Cinematography of the movie dual Sim has been handling by Pradheep Nair. Ratheesh Ravi has done editing of this venture. Angel Shinoy has given sound for the lady in the movie Dual Sim. Jayasurya and his son Adithyan have also take parts in the movie by sound presence.

Story of the movie Dual Sim

Dual sim has visualized the multiple relation of a girl with men. The film has started with a call of a lady to her secret man. She has talking to the man in absence of the peoples in her house. She has committed in a sexual mate with the man in past and she has been complaining about his avoidance after the mate. The boy has given another mobile phone to the girl for making call to him. She often switches on the phone just to know is there any message from the man. She has been saying to man that if any one knows about the phone it will finish every thing. She has described the situations that she faces while waiting for the man in last time of their meeting during their call. She has says that their relation is according the wish of the God. On the time of their call her husband has come from outside and she cancel the call, here the film ends.

Shooting of the short movie Dual sim has been carrying out in the house of the director Jaysurya himself. He has captured the beauty of the back ground nature in this short film. Jayasurya has proven his ability in film making through this short movie. The film has portrays the current social problem faced by the society. Jayasurya has made a good awareness to the society through his debut venture. The film has been pointing out the finger to the society about multiple relation of people by cheating their partners. The film Dual Sim already has released in online through You tube and make a wave in online community by garnering good response.
