Eecha malayalam movie – Get ready for an ice cream sandwich treat

Finally the date for the most expected movie is out. Rajamouli's magnum opus Eacha will be released in Kerala on 6th July 2012 while Eega in Telugu and Naan Ee in Tamil will be released on the same day. The makers behind the movie have done the final touch with ultra modern computer graphics which will be a visual treat for movie lovers. Eacha is one of the expected movies in malayalam which comes with a production cost of 26 crores. Nani, Samantha Santhanam and Sudeep will be playing the key roles. As for promotion, a special music video featuring Nani was released on all entertainment channels which really proved to be a feast for movie fans.



Eecha is a live action socio - fantasy revenge movie with an animated 'House Fly' in the title role. Nani plays the lead hero while Kannada actor Sudeep will be seen in a negative role. Samantha is casted as the heroine. According to the story of the movie, the hero Nani falls in love with Samantha but fails to express it. Later for some reason Nani was killed by the Villain.

Nani is reborn as a Eecha(fly). As the Eecha remembers about its previous birth, it tries to take revenge of its killer. Out of the total production cost of 26 crores, 7 crores were spent to glitter special effects (VFX).

The distribution rights of the movie were sold for 34 crores while the satellite rights were sold for 5.5 crores landing the movie in a comfortable position before the release. The music composed by M M Keervani for the film already had made into the hit charts.
