South Indian movies had been a stepping stone for many artists who turned to become the face of bollywood in recent times. Aiswarya Devan started her career in acting through the tamil movie Yuvan. Later she was seen as a young bride in Kandupidi Kandupidi, a tamil movie. Aishwarya is making her debut in malayalam through the movie 'Simhasanam' opposite to Prithviraj. The movie directed by Shaji Kailas was at the right time when Aishwarya was thinking to have dream debut in malayalam. Being casted in Simhasanam, Aishwarya felt proud to get paired against Prithviraj who is in the lime light after making his debut in bollywood opposite to Rani Mukherjee. The movie would be a gateway for Aishwarya to prove herself and mesmerize the audience. The movie is all set to hit theatres soon.

After Simhasanam, it would be Hitlist directed by actor Bala in which Aishwarya is being casted. The character in the movie is challenging and has lot of scope for Aishwarya as she would play the female lead opposite to Bala. As an actress Aishwarya do enjoy each moment of her acting career. Apart from making her dream filled with colours in acting movies, Aishwarya is interested in dancing, hearing music and also very much passionate towards travelling. As a change in the south Indian movies, female leads are also given equal preference as given to the lead actor which makes sure the presence of actresses to don character roles rather than being kept as a shadow of the hero. Following a trend young generation movie makers are compiling stories giving more preference to female actors.

Even though Aishwarya has passion to eat heavy food especially chicken biriyani, she is much cautious about her fitness. As a part of her diet she follows wheat bread, egg white and milk for breakfast while do like to have chapattis for lunch and dinner. Being a fitness expert she likes to focus on Yoga instead of working out in the gym.
