Mother's love, it is something that cannot be expressed in words and nothing can become substitute for it. For everyone a living care of mother will be the most memorable moments in their life which never get emptied. The movie Urava is based on such a theme which revolves around mother's love. Mother's love is always delightful in nature. But the movie Urava is pointing towards the bad aspect of present mother's love by providing an example of two mothers.
It is difficult to find a movie which gives more priority for women in silver screen especially in Malayalam movie industry. But the debutant director Sreevalsan has took the challenge by giving the lead role for women in his upcoming venture 'Urava'. Sreevalsan has enough experience in drama and serial field as he is disciple of fame dramatist G Shankarapillai. 'Urava' is his first project in Malayalam movie field even he has credits of bunch of serials like Jwalayay, Shamanathalam, Alakal, veendum Jwalayay etc. The director himself has penned the story and script of the flick Urava. Jos Alappuza has moved the camera while V T Murali has scored the music. Kallayam Suresh has produced the movie Urava under the banner SS Cini camp.
The movie features Jyothirmayi and Praveena in lead roles. Irshad has been casted in male lead while versatile actor Premkumar is back after a long gap. Nooriya, Jeeja Surendran, Kannur Sreelatha, Nedumudi venu, Ganesh Kumar, Master Nandan, Dr Jayan, Poojappura Radhakrishnan, Rohith Menon are essaying other central roles in the movie 'Urava'. Urava malayalam movie story
The movie Urava portrays the tale of mother's love. The movie has depicted two mothers, one is really knows the maternity while other is not. Sharada is wife of a Theyyam artist Krishnan Perumalayan. She is an unfortunate fellow who do not have able to conception even after 10 years of marriage. They always prayed to god seeking a child, but resulted in disappointment. Susmitha menon is a popular actress whose life is stick with modern urban life and western culture. She is the symbol of modern mother who left her child for the fame and dignity. Susmitha has left her child as he was affected by autism and she was afraid of losing her dignity because of the child. Sharada has got the child and she look after the child as her own by giving real maternity love. After certain period Susmitha comes back and asks tp return her child. The movie Urava is progressing through afterward incidents. Here Jyothirmayi is coming in the role of Sharada while Irshad comes as her husband. Praveena has been casting in the role of Susmitha Menon.
'Urava' would be the first autistic movie in malayalam. The movie Urava mainly focus on family viewers as the theme revolves around a family concept. The shooting of the movie had completed in Thalassery and nearby places. The movie hopes to hit theatre in this year itself and surely a good feast for family audience.
