The Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has started in the year 2001. This college is affiliated to M.G University; AICTE approved and got NBA accreditation for prime departments. This college following ratio of 1:20 (staffs: students). This college is a Christian minority institution and it's built up area is around 55 acres. College Library: The library was started in the year 2001. This college library aim is to have all collection of useful books for faculty, students, and researchers. This college library is built up in 30000 square feet area and it spreader over 3 floors. This college library contains separate division like reading, reference, periodical section, PG section. This library also contains more than 32000 books, around 170 journals, and many more rare collections of books. This library will operate on all the weekdays from morning 8:00 AM to evening 8 PM and in Saturday from morning 8:00 AM to evening 5:00 PM and in Sundays and in any functional holidays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Computer Lab: The computer lab has more than 250 desktops. All the desktop are connected through network and all the system are having internet connection. This college internet speed is up to 16Mbps. All the students are trained in very good manner. There is separate lab period for all students at that time the dedicated lab assistance will help the students to learn their academics. This computer lab was well equipped and all the systems are in high configuration.
Knowledge Center: The Knowledge center is built up in 50000 square feet and it covers five floors. This center is divided into separate parts like Training division, Research division, Browsing area, Language Lab, Software development area and so many. There is separate Av hall, video conferencing room which is used for symposium activity and college technical feast. All the sections in this knowledge center are served for different purpose.
Hostel: The Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has 2 hostel one for gents and another for ladies. In this hostel all the rooms have telephone facility but they banned mobile use. All the rooms are spacious and the environment also very nice. So the students staying in this hostel will fell like they are staying in their home. Each hostel is monitor by one or more wardens; each student has to follow the hostel rules and regulation. In hostel they will provide the healthy and tasty food and the rooms will be cleaned periodically. This hostel cans accommodate 1500 students. There are different types of room's available for all the students like single bed room, double bed room, 4 sharing rooms. News paper will be served to all the rooms.
