Mythili's item number scaling high as Gangnam Style
Mythili's item dance in malayalam movie Matinee is climbing more heights clocking 4 lakh views in less than a week. The preview of the dance number is scaling high as a viral video getting noticed by movie fans who are enthralled by her dance performance. Even though Padmapriya and Remya Nambeeshan had made news with their item dances in Bachelor Party, Mythili is making name with her latest appearance in Matinee.
The young generation movie makers in malayalam always keep an eye on the trends that connected with movie industry. Inspired by Arabic belly dance and item dances which are being seen in bollywood and kollywood, film makers aims high to combine a song in their movies tagged as 'item dance' which is getting much popular. Almost all top most bollywood actresses have been a part of various projects which highlight their appearance prior to the release of the movies.
According to the strategy planned, these dance videos featuring the actresses get well reception eventually dragging a certain section of viewers to the theatres. Even though hip hop dances were seen in many malayalam movies, with the advent of internet and social media sites, the songs would get well accepted before it reach the theatres.

The song 'Ayalathe Veetile' featuring Mythili is composed by Bollywood music director who has a long experience of giving life to songs which can woo the audience. The song which was released a week ago had gone viral beyond expectations clocking 4 lakh views reported to be the first malayalam video to cross 1 lakh spectators less than 48 hours.
Even though the uploaded song was a one-and-a-half minute teaser, it made awe-inspiring response. While the cast and crew of the movie are enthralled by the high reception, the composer Anand would be happier who had been a part of various projects including Shootout at Lokhandwala, Kaante and Welcome. It would be Anand's second outing in malayalam after his mesmerizing songs for Violin.
Thrilled by the success, Anand say that music has not language as the song is well accepted by the masses. Adding beats and punches, the music was composed in such a way the singer too could do well giving a positive result while on screen.
Directed by Anish Upasana, the movie is gearing up for a release in November.
