    Sabarimala Celestial Light Man made

Today Travancore Devaswom Board told the Kerala High Court that the sacred fire that emits out the spectacle Natural Phenomenon "Makara Jyoti" at Sabarimala Ayappa Temple is a Man made process. Since chilhood days am being hearing the Occurences of Divine Light which falls on every Makara Masam which is attended by huge numbers of devotees after along penances to offer their prayers & to feel the God Divine touch. Sabarimala Temple is one of the historic temple in India known not only in India but world wide. It's unique because it is opened to all irrespective of caste & creed, what ever religion one might be But only for mens for womens only after 50Yrs. Its said since ancient days that it is auspicious to see Makara jyothi in ones life time to be their with God at his own abode & to feel his grace & divine touch. But now as it is been said its man made it is hurted & tampered their so long ancient belief, when such old ancient belief it self is harmed & cheated than whom we can rely. Politicians play thier own game which they know, but where one will appeal for this very cause. Is there God than let him self come down and tackle like our own politics politicians does.

Do respond to such detoriation of our religious belief. Its a time to act, so lets do it.

Actually this was a known fact to most of the people. earlier the light was burned by certain forest dwellers as part of their celebration on the Makaram beginning (Makara pongal). When people started pouring in they vacated the area, and then onwards, seeing that devotees gave much importance to this light, the Devaswam officials arranged lighting this. When the doors of sanctum sanctorum is opened people worship the Deity with all lights lit up by the priest. Similarly this Makara jyothi can also be worshiped as a representation of the Deity.

About the Makara Jyothi there was controversy as to whether the jyothi is a divine phenomena or a man made one.

Those who were ardent devotees of the Sabarimala Devan, Ayyappan, believed it be divine. They revered the same and were willing to undergo any hardships including the possible death to have a glimpse of the Jyothi from close quarters as was evident last year.

The revelation by the Devaswom Board would have come as a shock to them. It will take some time for them to get adjusted to the fact. In the meantime they will be feeling as if they were cheated. Their feeling is fully justified. Though I have gone to Sabarimala only once, I know many who have gone there especially during the Jyothi time.

When the controversy was raging the Devaswom Board should have clarified so that the devotees who had taken all the troubles would not have felt bad.

We all owe it to the person/s who went to the court to find out the truth.
