Is'nt it time for our politicians to stop the war with tongue?

It has become a very shameful act from the politicials nowdays. The moment they get a chance to speak, they starts firing the opponents with all the weapons they have - pinpointing each and every mistakes, making comments , their behavior or even regarding their family or personal life. It it what we expect from the people who are ruling/ going to rule the state? What impression do they give infront of others and especially children? If a politician speak against another politician, next day there is a meeting or press conference of the latter to give a much 'better' reply for them. I really believe this is a serious issue that should be taken some action.
