Even in the past there are instances that the monsoon rain started only in the second half of June. The present condition, in which lots of changes are taking place in the weather, perhaps, the rain may be advanced and might be over before June. Also it is possible for a postponement to July.
Most of us know that the "Kanikkonna" (the symbol of Vishu) used to flower by the middle of April, coinciding with Vishu. but now it starts very early, even in January-February periods it is flowering. So the changes in the nature because of the change in climatic conditions are to be expected. This will certainly affect the temperature conditions of the atmosphere, which will change the onset of monsoon.
