Bus fare hike in Kerala
The Kerala Ministry have decided to increase the bus fare in Kerala. An Onam present for Keralites! (Already a decision is there to add the electricity charges from next month). It is true that the petrol and diesel charges are increased several times these days.Certainly the buses and taxis will be forced to increase the fare. But the Government should see that the fare stages of the buses are fixed as per the decisions. Minimum charge is going to be fixed as Rs.5/-. The distance to be covered for 5 rupees must be in tune with the kilometer rate.This is never looked into.
