Windows XP Professional- Auto deletion of temporary folderWe can make settings for automatic deletion of temporary folder by executing the given steps.
Step 1: Go to start menu.
Step 2: Go to run and type in gpedit.msc and press Enter key.
Step 3: Go to the following folders=>
Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Terminal Services/Temporary Folder
Step 4: Right click "Do Not Delete Temp Folder Upon Exit"
Step 5: Go to properties and click disable
After doing all these steps, next time onwards if Windows puts a temporary file, it will automatically delete it when it is done!
Please be note that GPEDIT (Group Policy Editor) is only available in XP Pro.
