Calicut University VC appointed
Dr.M.Abdul Salam is the new Vice-Chancellor of Calicut University. He was the head of the Agronomy division of Kerala agricultural University. He has more than thirty years teaching research experience. His works are mainly related to Cashew.He headed the commission appointed by Kerala Agricultural university to study the effect of Endosulfan on the soil and crops. He has twelve books on agriculture related subjects to his credit in addition to his research publications. He has served in different committees under the Government and University.
