Hartal; State transport buses stoned.
Monday; 19-SepExcept some private vehicles, all other vehicles remained off the road because of the hartal called by the LDF and BJP in Kerala in response of the price hike in petrol by the central government. A few incidents are reported at different places of the state which includes stone pelting on KSRTC buses at Parasala and Alapuzha. But this time a vehicle carrying a marriage party is also attacked by the people in Kollam.
State government had already lowered the price of the petrol by 70 paise and had requested the opposition parties to call off the hartal.
