Perhaps some people might agree with Sreesanth's statement. But Kerala Cricket is not going to agree with this. The ban on KTK from India Premier League is going to effect Kerala, mainly the Kochi Municipal corporation and KCA. Both of them together spend a huge amount for making the Kochi Nehru stadium to a world class stadium. KCA had pointed out the same issue when the team management wanted to shift their team's home ground to Ahmadabad. The kerala government will also loose money in one or another way. Then how cum Sreesanth can make such a statement. Sometimes he may not be going to loose anything from the suspension of the team. He will join any other IPL team in the next season.

Half of what he said is right. Players should not consider IPL as a short cut to get into the National side. They have to prove themselves in the first class cricket. But we have to agree that IPL gives a bigger exposure to the local players. In that way Sreesanth may be questioned.
