Decision on Cochin Metro shortly
Urban development minister Mr Kamal Nath informed that the union cabinet will be meeting and in that meeting he expected to take a decision about the metro rail for Cochi. The decision can be expected within 2 weeks time. He informed that the Chief minister has discussed with the Central Government and the Center has agreed to give all help according to Mr Nath. Mr Nath assured that he will discuss and try to convince the finance ministry to implement the project as that of the Chennai model. Let us hope that within the fortnight the Central decision will come in favour of the Cochi metro and the dream will be realized soon.
