'Nagaram' supplement of Mathrubhumi has suggested sharing autoriksha as an alternative for easing the transportation problem of Kochi. It eases in two way. Travelers can reach destination quickly and also the cost will be less.Autoriksha with capacity to take six or more travelers at a time are available in certain Metro cities, like Chennai. It can be introduced in Kochi in specified routs with assigned rates tried.
In countryside, rural areas, already people do this sharing in the ordinary autos.They wait at a stop until enough people are boarded. When a traveler gets down he pays his share.
