    Film stars and NRIs in BPL list

    On the last day Food and Civil supplies minister Shibu Baby John revealed that the name of some film stars and NRIs include in Kerala's Below Poverty Line list. He did not reveal their names and added that the list includes the name of some government employees too. Anyways he told that the mistake will be cleared soon.
    Here related to this news lets discuss- What is the objective of classifying BPL and APL listing in Kerala? Kerala government offers special benefits to those who belong to BPL listing. Is there having a genuine classification? Definitely there should wants an exact measurement to identify the poorest of the state. The concessions and benefits must be given to those who deserve it.

    It is quite possible that some film stars may be there in the BPL list genuinely as there are competition and luck for some are not good. But chances of NRIs in the list is practically nil. Otherwise it is because India is incredible.

    But Minister Shibhu Baby John said that the name of film stars and NRI's was included because of mistake, and they are not deserving it.
