Veteran Malayalam critic, writer, orator and social personality Professor (Dr) Sukumar Azhikkod died this morning at Thrissur. He was admitted in a private hospital there more than a month back.
The cremation is planned at Payyambalam, Kannur tomorrow.
One of the orators who criticised everybody who did wrong, was a corrective force in the socio-cultural arena of Kerala. All people listened his words on all serious issues.
He was by profession a Professor of Malayalam. He retired as Pro-Vice Chancellor of Calicut University.
He had got the Kendra Sahitya Academy award for his work 'Thatwamasi'.

He was good writer and criticiser.. His contribution to malayalam culture is highly remarkable. he had got many awards and gudgeons. his main contributions is about indian philosphfy.
