Kerala, the god's own country is blessed by the god and the state is a bounty of natural beauty lavished by the god. In many respects the people of Kerala are far advanced comparing to other states of the country. In literacy it far ahead of the rest of the country with near cent percent position. In electricity it has reached almost all the villages and probably only a few areas are to be covered. Every village has the banking facility in Kerala. On the whole people are well off. This is only one side of the coin.
The other side is not so bright or pleasant. While it is a well off state on the whole, there are people struggling to have 2 square meals in Kerala also though the ration is very less compared to other states in the country. In respect of the items mentioned in the above para, of course Kerala is very much developed. But take the case of industries. What is the position of industries in Kerala? Even whatever little was there are in danger due to the strikes and labour troubles etc. Take the case of food grains, pulses, oils, vegetables and fruits etc. We have to import all these from other states who use this to blackmail and pressurize us on issues where they have to depend on us, the water. Whatever prosperity is there is thanks to the 'Maru naadan Malayalees' who send their earnings to their families. The infra structure is stagnating like the Marxism is stagnating in the hands of the petty burshwa comrades of the state with their petty mindedness.
Of course the trend is slightly changing with the new Government of Chandy coming to power. There is a feeble sign of the revival of industrialization with the declaration of setting up of the rail coach factory. As for infrastructure contribution from the railways the previous Rail Minister Mr Trivedi declared the super fast railway corridor connecting the capital city of the state with the northern tip town Kasargod. But with the sacking of Mr Trivedi there is no guarantee that this corridor will not also be sacked by the new minister as our country's leaders do not look to the issues but who is doing it. There is some progress in the smart city project.
Let us hope on this VISHU DAY that the progress initiated will not only continue but accelerate further.
In my opinion Kerala is one of the most developed state in India,because our state has no starvation in any thing as it is god's on country.We have wide variety of cultivations,festivals and all over a very good atmosphere for living.Its only by god's grace that Kerala is being popular in every part of the world.All foreigners are interested to spend their time here for the enjoyment and their by we could increase the foreign wealth which will lead to the development of our state and also our nation.Its all by the grace of our god almighty.
