It is too early to say anything about the murder. However, as Chandrasekharan was a political leader, there will be several versions by the political parties who may benefit or suffer. But all parties will make irresponsible statements to get the advantage of the murder for the assembly by election in Kerala or for personal advantage. The UDF can state that the murder is directly or indirectly done by the CPM. In CPM, itself, the Achuthananadan and his followers may come out accusing CPM to tarnish the official group led by Pinarai as a part of the factional feud and settling score. As things stand it will be very embarrassing for the CPM as some of their activists are arrested for their role in the murder. But that should not mean that the CPM us directly involved in the murder. While there is a possibility of the CPM involvement, the murder could be due to some personal trouble between Chandrasekharan and some of those who are arrested. Let us hope that the investigation will bring our the truth.
