Special features of your native place, if any.

Our members are from different parts of the country. Naturally, there will be something special with the place where you live. It may be related to people, arts, festivals, nature, rituals, etc. Why not just present some of them so that others will also know about them.

I am from the renowned place Kayamkulam, which is made famous long ago by the legend Kayamkulam Kochunni, the honest thief also close by the seasonal resort of the Travancore Kings, The Krishnapuram Palace. I have already thought of providing resources on the topic, but by studies prevents me from borrowing the time. But I will be on the track soon and bring in bits to fill in the whole.

I hail from Kollam District of Kerala. Kollam is known for the back waters and it is the place where Sasthamcotta Lake exists, the only fresh water lake in Kerala. The Thenmala Dam and Palaruvi Waterfalls are in this district.
