LOKPAL –"FOLLOW HIM NOT, FOLLOW HIS WORD" this catching wordings found in the poster of 2013's first Mohanlal film named 'Lokpal'. After the success of 'Run Baby Run' the legend director Joshiy is going to entertain the viewers with the universal star Mohanlal in this film . Run Baby Run become biggest collected film of 2012. It is an upcoming thriller from the duos. Mohanlal's role in the film is Nandagopalan who runs a restaurant but have some under cover social activities. Mohan lal and Kavya Madavan will do the lead roles and the film also features Meera Nandan, Manoj K Jayan, Vijayaragavan and Sai Kumar in the prominent supporting roles. Another important appearance of this film is Mohanlal, Joshiy and S.N Swami uniting after a long period of 22 years, last they seen together in the film Naduvazhikal one of the biggest blockbusters in Malayalam film .

Vijayakumar under the banner of Happy & Ruby Cinemas. S. L. Vimal Kumar is the General Secretary of All Kerala Mohanlal Fans and Welfare Association, while Vijayans (Balan Vijayan and M. Vijayakumar) are the founders of Happy and Ruby Group. Pradeep Chandran is the Executive Producer. The film was launched on 10 September 2012 with a pooja ceremony organised at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Kochi, India.
