Unni Mukundan is playing a plethora of roles that are a sensible mix of action, serious and romantic. He will be playing the role of a namboothiri boy along with actor/ director Lal in director Harikumar's next untitled venture. Talking about he role Unni says, '' I play a serious role of a boy who is trying to help Lal's character who has a liver problem . the film look at the subject of organ donation''.Santhosh Echikkanam will be penned the script and dialogue for the movie produced by6 Sudeep and Arun. The shot will start by February end in Kozhikode and ottapalam and the heroine will finalized shortly. Meanwhile Unni also opines that he is consciously trying to balance out and out commercial ventures with serious roles that do not require muscle flexing. He says, " I want people to remember me across all genres." Adding that he would love to do a movie like Tamil 'Run' or 'Paiyya'
