Kerala government decides to provide temporary relief to KSRTC

Kerala government decides to provide temporary relief for KSRTC, a public service transportation system which is cutting their schedules because of the hike in diesel price and also due to the cutoff of subsidy. The Kerala government already send a letter to the central government for regaining the subsidy. But it will take some time for getting a reply and the state government decided to provide financial support to KSRTC up to that time.

Naturally it is expected, since the revenue generated by KSRTC cannot be ignored, though very often it is running at a loss (very often because of mismanagement). Diesel must be made available to KSRTC since it is the means of transport for the majority in the state. However, the State government cannot continue paying this compensation like this.hence immediate action from the Central Government must come soon.
