Review of latest Malayalam film "Hotel California"
Hotel California' directed by Aji John and written by Anoop Menon. The leads in the film are Jayasurya, Anoop Menon, Honey Rose, Maria Roy and Aparna Nair. The movie is produced by Josemon Simon under the banner of Jairaj Films and music is composed by Shaan Rahman, Cinematography by Jithu Damodar and edit by Xian.The movie that just ends in 137 minutes.
The movie will see a reunion of all characters from Trivandrum Lodge.
Its a new generation movie but it don"t have a proper link or story. ‘ Hotel California ' tells the story of five people from five different places reach Kochi Airport, they are not known each other. They all are stick by a person at Kochi.A rich business man wants to bed an actress; a young girl wants to conceive a baby without getting married, a set of aimless men plan a kidnap, a methodical pimp with a sly glint in his eyes ( Jayasurya) flirts with the fate of men and women.
But the real pluses of the film also includes stylish shots by Jeethu Damodhar and fine BGM selections by Shaan Rahman.The movie that just ends in 137 minutes , thanks to sharp cuts by Xian, is a fine watch for a time pass.
Final review – Average movie, expected a much better stuff from Anoop Menon...disappointed!!
