It has become a routine affair that the Govt. revise the bus fare when the bus owners threaten or go for a strike. Very often the plight of ordinary people is overlooked. Now the minimum charge is Rs.7/-.
There is a class of people, especially women, who survive by doing cleaning, washing and such other sundry works in other houses. Most of them stay in suburban areas and travel to city to attend these works. They depend the ordinary buses. For them the monthly income is limited. These people are directly affected with these bus fare hike.
Similarly the girls working in various shops in cities are daily spending a good sum as bus fare.
They also are affected with this fare rise.
