Civil engineering and its branches

Civil engineering is the one of the oldest branch of engineering deal with the study of different buidings, roads, dams, underground pipes etc. The overall development of a nation is totally depents upon these factors. From this point we can say tha t civil enginees play a key role in the development of a nation. The various branches in civil engineering are transportation, environmental, constructural, structural etc. As a civil engineer I am proud to do something for my nation. So comment your views about civil engineering.

I am also studying for civil engineering and I'm more than happy in this field. This is considered to be the core branch and is the easiest among other engineering branches. The present situation of Kerala is so pathetic and lags way behind in constructional developments. So a small but valuable contribution from my side will be like a dream. Hopping for the best.
