Mullaiperiayar dam was constructed how many year back ?

Mullaiperiyar dam is the prestige of Kerala. How many year back this dam was constructed. Guess.

1. 100 years

2. 105 years

3. 109 years

4. 111 years

As per the historical sources, Mullaiperiyar dam's construction was started on the year 1887 and it was opened for the water storage on the year 1895, which means, the construction tenure of Mullaiperiyar dam has been stretched for a whole long 7 years.

If it's started storing it's water reserve's on 1895 means, Mullaiperiyar dam is 115 years old and not fall in the options you habe given.

how would be 111 years, the dam was commissioned on the year 1895 ?
1895+111 = 2006, but now the year is 2010 running ?
So the answer will be 1895 + 115 = 2010.

Is that Justifiable :(
