Use proper spacing after punctuation


You should use a single space after the following punctuation:

Comma
Full stop (period)
Question mark
Exclamation
Colon
Semi colon

Examples:

Wrong usage:
My best friends are Thomas,Alwyn,Antony and Soniya.But none of them live near my home.


Correct usage:
My best friends are Thomas,   Alwyn,   Antony and Soniya.   But none of them live near my home.


NOTE:

1. Use no space before and after the hyphen (dash)

2. Do not use space before or after the full stop (period) in abbreviations (Example: 10a.m.)

3. Do not use space before or after color (:) while writing ratios (Example: 10:20)

4. Do not use space after the period in decimal numbers.
