The Grilled chicken is a dish in which the marinated chicken is cooked directly in fire without oil. The grilled chicken is a crispy and tasty dish. It has good smell and it look very nice. It is very easy to prepare and consume fewer ingredients to prepare. It can be prepared within few minutes. You can follow the preparation method to prepare grilled chicken.
Ingredients required for grilled chicken
1. Chicken: 2kg
2. Butter: 200g
3. Red chilli: 5 (piece)
4. Coriander powder : 1 tsp
5. Pepper powder: 1 tsp
6. Garlic: 5 (piece)
7. Ginger: 1 (fine)
8. Cardamom: 3
9. Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
10. Curry leaves: 10 leaves
11. Vinegar: 2 tsp
12. Salt: (as required)
13. Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
14. Lemon juice: 2 tsp
15. Onion: 1(sliced)
Preparation methods grilled chicken
Step 1: Clean the chicken well with turmeric powder.
Step 2: Grind garlic, ginger, cardamom, cumin seeds, and red chili well with water to a fine paste.
Step 3: Mix coriander powder, pepper powder, vinegar and salt with above paste.
Step 4: Marinate chicken well with above paste and keep it aside for 1 hour.
Step 5: Grill the chicken in tandoori stove or gas stove without oil. Grill the marinated chicken in direct fire. Cook it for 10 minutes.
Step 6: Take the half cooked chicken and apply butter on it. Again grill the chicken for 10 minutes.
Step 7: Check whether the chicken is cooked or not by injecting a stick into the chicken. If the chicken is cooked well the stick has no masala in it. If the chicken is not cooked the masala stick into the stick
Step 8: Roast the chicken well until the outer layer of the chicken turns to dark red in color.
Step 9: Rotate the chicken and cook all the sides until the smell of ginger garlic disappear.
Step 10: Take the chicken from the fire and squeeze the lemon juice above the chicken.
Step 11: Garnish it with sliced onion. Serve it with rice and parotta.
Extra tip: You can also use little soya sauce for more taste.
