A summer vacation in God's Own Country - The Magnificent Kerala.

I had been to Kerala several times and each time we visit a tourist spot. This time we had planned to visit 'Kumarakom Backwaters'. We were warmly welcomed by a boat owner and their charges were Rs.300 per hr for a family. We didn't opt for a house boat as we had to return home the same day. The charges for an house boat was Rs.8000 for 12 hrs. We got into our little boat. What a splendid site! the sun shed its beam upon the waters & the waters started rocking our boat slowly as it moved through the weeds. The coconut trees waived at us as we passed them. The water lily enhanced the beauty of the water and the breeze was filled with mystical music. My soul rejoiced and thanked God for his beautiful creation and for giving me an opportunity to admire this beauty.
