The great actor Kochin Haneefa passed away at Chennai on Tuesday. His body will be brought to Kochi today for the cremation. Haneefa was both an actor and a director. He acted in Malayalam, Tamil and other languages.
Kochin Haneefa, a great actor and also a director passed away after a week's ailment, at Chennai. He was a film personality loved by everyone and he too loved every individual in the film world.
He directed certain good films which include 'Valsalyam', an award winning film. As an actor there is nobody to replace him. He has his own style of acting.
He started his career as a mimicry artist. As a comedian he has found a place in everybody's mind. he has had the role villain also.He has acted in most of the South Indian language films.
Kochi was his birth place, and which gave him the name Kochin Haneefa. During his School and College education time he got several prizes for mimicry and acting.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Haneefa's body is being brought to Kochi where his house is located. After keeping it for a while for paying the tributes, the burial will take place.
