Kerala is one of the most beautiful and naturally gifted state in INDIA.
It lies in the south most part of the Country and is easily accessible via Air, Rail and Road. The state is widely adjudged for its naturally beauty and back waters and is suitable for visits during the period of September to March.
Other months are either hot or rainy making it not fully enjoyable.

The state is also the most advanced in the development of Ayurveda and Hospitality, and support the tourist with a widely available and trained manpower.

The maximum number of tourists are generally visiting Kerala during August- September months. It is the time when the South -West monsoon withdraws and the down pour of rain subsides. More over, this is the time when Keralites celebrate the famous Onam festival, historically.

As an agricultural land this celebration is said to be attached with the paddy harvest season of the first crop. There are other mythological stories attached with the Onam celebrations. However, all Malayalees in the world are joining in this celebrations, irrespective of religious or caste differences.
Now the State Government is taking the initiative to celebrate this period as Tourism week. Varieties of cultural programmes are organized as part of the celebrations.
