Shrimp Masala - Kerala Style : Chemmeen Masala

here is the way how you have to cook Shrimp Masala


Shrimp Masala / Chemmeen Masala

Ingredients

Shrimp Cooked – 1/2 Kg
Red Onions – 1
Tomato – 1
Capsicum – 1 large
Curry leaves – A Few
Green Chillies – 2
Ginger – 1 TBSB
Garlic – 4 Pods
Fish Masala Powder – 2 TBSB
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 TBSB
Salt – On your taste
Oil – 2 TBSB
Lemon Juice – 1 TBSB


Marinate the Shrimp :


Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilly Powder – 1 tsp
Black pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Salt – to taste

Wash and drain the shrimp and marinate it with the above ingredients.

Mariante it for around 15 minutes.

Preparation Method :

heat oil,saute onions

Add ginger,garlic and curry leaves and saute

Add tomatoes and make it like a Thick Gravy

Add fish masala,garam masala,chilly powder and salt and stir fry for a few minutes

Once oil begins to separate from the masala,add the Capsicum and mix well.

Cover and cook on medium heat for 3 - 5 Minutes

Add the shrimp and saute for another 5 minutes ,till the masala gets coated on the shrimp

Flavor 1 TBSB of lemon juice and mix everything well.
