The stock market closed on Monday at 18409 posting an increase of 7.53 points over the sensex figure of Friday closing

The BSE closed at 18409.35 while NIFTY closed at 5543.50 points over Friday. The market is looking for consolidation now and with the future and option expiring on Thursday on 26 August 2010. Watch this column.
