Onion finely sliced -2
Green chilly chopped -2
Ginger chopped -1 small piece (2 cm. length)
Salt -To taste
Kabab powder or gram flour (kadala mavu)-1 ½ cup
Asafoetida powder -1 spoon
Red chilly powder -1 spoon
Curry leaves chopped -4 leaves
Oil - for frying
1 Mix all the ingredients well. Add two or three spoons of water and mix well so that all the ingredients bind well.
2 Take a small portion of the mixture by hand or spoon and fry in hot oil.
3 Drain it when the colour turns to reddish brown.
4 Delicious onion bhaji is ready.
