Mobile phones - advantages & disadvantages

Advantage of Mobile Phones:

Just dial the number of your wellwisher / relative / friends, you can speak to him wherever they are. Mobile phones have made the whole world too short to reach out. Within seconds you can contact a person living any part of the world, that too for a minimum charge. Earlier was it possible? Let us say around 15 - 20 years back. We have to book a trunk call to a person living outside the country. Wait for 1/2 - 1 hr. sit in fron the phone. If we are lucky, we will get the line and do our communication. After the arrival of mobile phones, the world has become very near to us. In fact, by carrying a mobile on hand, we are carrying the whole world in our hand.

Disadvantage of Moible Phones:

It is not at all advisable to give mobile phone to your school - college going children as it will spoil the discpline of the child. If a student is carrying the mobile, his total concentraton will be on the mobile he carries but not in the class rooms where his future life is being shapped. There are chances to be involved in unwanted contacts. Apart from this, its vibration during incoming calls is not good for health. Using mobile phone for a long time very close to our ears will harm our hearing power. The Electronic waves emerging from the moble phone will directly affect the nerves of our brain. Do not speak in the mobile for a long time.
