Vincent Gomas, a young and smart all rounder from Kerala has joined Kochi IPL Team on 13th January 2011. He is also the captain of Kerala Ranji Trophy Team. Vincent Gomas has been in the IPL for last seasons. He was a player of Rajasthan Royals in the 2009 season, but didn't get an opportunity to perform. By signing the deal with Indi Commandos Kerala in January 2011, he became the second Keralite after Sreesanth to be in the permanent squad. He was also invited to join Kolkatta Knight Riders, but his deep passion to play in his own team made him to contribute for Indi Commandos Kerala.
The performances of Vincent Gomas were very appealing in last few years. Few days back, he scored 5 sixes and a four in an over of Hyderabad team player Ravi Theja in Vijay Hazare Trophy. This single performance shows his ability in the limited overs cricket. He joined Kerala team in the year 2006 and played 20 first class matches for his team and scored 656 runs. He has a good strike rate in T20 format and also got 200 plus runs with in 20 matches. He is also a good medium fast bowler. He will certainly be a valuable all rounder in Indi Commandos Kerala .
