Indian musical genius AR Rahman has won two Oscar nominations for his work in the Danny Boyle Movie 127 Hours – one under the Best Original Score category and the other for his song 'If I rise' in the same film under the Best Song category. The film also got a nomination for Best Picture. Danny Boyle is the director of the Oscar-winning movie Slum Dog Millionaire.
Rahman won two Oscars for the 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire and the film itself secured 8 Oscars. Awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony on Feb 27.
