Sports Authority of India ( SAI ) was established in 1984 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports to promote sport throughout the country.Earlier, SAI successfully held the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982. Now, SAI has seven regional centres at Bangalore, Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Sonepat, Delhi, Mumbai and Imphal and two sub-centres at Guwahati and Aurangabad.
SAI Delhi invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following positions :
1.Lower Division Clerk ( LDC )
Number of posts available: 29
Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 1900/-
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years
Qualification : Candidate should have passed 12th class along with type-writing test in English with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute or in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.
2. Junior Accountant
No. of posts : 45
Pay scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 2400/-
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years
Qualification : Candidate should be graduate in commerce ( B.Com ) and should have the knowledge of computer applications including spread sheet and accounting software.
Last date for the receipt of application : 15th April 2011
