Adding to this list of popular faces here comes the vibrant Vinu Thomas yet another talent who had shown his presence in Malayalam and Telugu movies.
Vinu Thomas from the school days onwards was much popular among the peer mates for his versatile character. During his school days, he had a great passion towards music and singing. At the age of 18 vinu composed his debut music for a christian devotional album 'Divya Santhwanam'. The tunes of this album had a magical touch as the songs still remain as an evergreen Christian devotional album.
Growth of the Young Musician Vinu Thomas
From the young age, vinu struggled a lot to learn music. At the age of 10 he started his first steps to learn karnatic music from a Christian missionary music school where he was given the first lessons of music by senu, who taught him the fundamentals of music. From his words Senu was this first person whom he admire all of his life. Even though had the passion of learning more about music, he struggled with two thoughts, either go by the way of his parents wish to become an advocate or to become a musician. So as both of his parents were advocates, vinu also had studied law and had practiced for one year. But as he discovered that his career would be better in music world, vinu tried to concentrate more on finding possibilities in music. During the time he started doing music direction for ad films.
The turning point in vinu's life happened when he met Tanu Balak, an ad film maker who now works as a cinematographer for malayalam movies. Tanu had worked with some of the projects of malyalam movie maker Jayaraj in his movies Of The People & The Train. Being motivated with having friendship with tanu, this young musician vinu had started doing ads independently. By time, he got chance to do some big projects from corporate companies which include popular commercials which he had done for Malayala Manorama, V Guard, Veegaland, AVT Tea, Sunidra Matress,Mathrubhoomi,Sapil and lot of national and International Brands.
Introduced to Jayaraj, vinu joined the movie maker in bringing up few popular ad films. Jayaraj gave him the first malayalam movie while he took the sequence of the trendy movie 'For the People'. Jayaraj didn't think of a second choice as he introduced vinu in the third sequence 'Of The People'. The musical department of the movie was handled by vinu. All songs of the movie hit the top chart before the release of the movie, which had songs with magical touch. Even though the movie 'Of the People' didn't make much move in the box office, all the songs of the movie were on the chart busters.
Later he we introduced in tollywood to do a telugu movie, Ankith, Pallavi and Friends directed by Hari Yelleti. Here too the young musician could make the telugu audience dance according to his tune. With neck to neck competition in tollywood, the young boy was a surprise to the telugu audience.
Vinu had a surprise come back with the Malayalam movie 'Not Out' directed by Kutty Naduvil. As this movie too had a combination of melody and youthful songs, the songs of the movie too became popular.

The malayalee audience will get yet another chance to hear his sparkling songs through the upcoming movie Dr.Love, which is directed by K.BIJU. Dr.Love is fun filled campus movie which is packed with melodious songs and fast numbers which would keep the audience energetic. The theme song of the movie has now become a talk of the town. Movie lovers can expect more songs from the movie as it's slated to get released this September.
