Founded in 1999 with the first Miss Kerala pageant, the Miss Kerala Foundation has constantly extended its services to society. The Miss Kerala Foundation has donated a major part of its funds to the unfortunate many.The 11 years of success has encouraged the pageant producers to take up a leap forward by joining hands with 'SAVE THE GIRL CHILD' mission again. The association with 'Save the Girl Child' mission is in harmony with year's pageant theme- Beauty with a purpose. The winner would devote herself in working for 'Save the Girl Child' programme. Miss Kerala, across the last decade has endeavored to discover, nurture and display beauty and talent among young women of Kerala. The event is open to young women who have origins in the state of Kerala. We need to appreciate beauty and beautiful women. We need to applaud the way they carry themselves, from how they walk to how they talk, and much more. So the committee will crown the lady with all these qualities after various rounds.

Here is the list and photographs of all beauty queens shortlisted for the the Hairomax Miss Kerala 2011 Grand Finale held at Le Meridian convention centre on 08/10/11. 
The Twelfth edition of the Miss Kerala was held at Le Meridian Hotel in Kochi. A total of 20 participants were shortlisted for the Hairomax Miss Kerala 2011 event after auditions conducted across the country for the beauty queens with Kerala Origin. The auditions were conducted in Cochin, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Dubai. All 20 beauty contestants were closely monitored by the expert panel of juries in the areas of beauty and talent to find out the beauty queen of Kerala. The judges decided the winners based on Dress-wear, Confidence and Communication of the contestants, personality, talent and answer to the judges' question. The event was supported by Parakkat, Time Ads, Le Meridian, Club FM, Anna Properties, Citizen, Kochivibe, Gili, Elite Matrimony and Parinaya Wedding Management Solutions.
