Aakash, the world's cheapest tablet has been launched by India in October 2011. It is developed by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Rajasthan). The Akaash Tablet Computer was launched by Kapil Sibal (Telecom and Educational Minister ) at Delhi. The brand name of Aakash tablet is UbiSlate7.
