Ezham Suryan is an upcoming malayalam movie directed by debutant Njanasheelan. Unni Mukundan and Mahalakshmi are playing the lead roles in this movie. Ramesh Cholayil has produced the movie Ezham Suryan under the banner Kaivalyam creations. Sai Kumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalpana, Saleem Kumar, Suraj Venjarammod, Sreejith Ravi have given life to other central characters in this movie. Njanasheelan is making his debutant as a director although he worked as a sounded director in mini screen field which includes popular serial Minnukettu which telecast in Surya TV. He made a debutant entry to Malayalam film field through Ezham Suryan with hope of success as in the mini screen. The director himself has penned the story of the film while screen play and dialogues are by Vijaya Kumar. Famous musicians M. Jayachandran and Mohan Sitara has tuned the songs for the lines of Asha Ramesh in this movie.

Unni Mukundan is the leading actor in this movie who started his career in Tamil film Seedan, an adaption of Malayalam film Nandanam. Later he had done notable characters in Bombay March 12, Bangkok summer, Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty and Mallu Singh. Mahalakshmi debuted in malayalam through Female Unnikrishnan. She also plays some notable characters in Malayalam serials and appeared in Kairali TV's Tharolsavam reality show.

Ezham Suryan malayalam movie story

Ezham Suryan tells the story of an astrologer and his son's and the incidents which happened in their life. Vazhakkod Unnikrishnan Namboothiri is a member of the traditional astrologer's family who is a well known astrologer. He is a widower and he has only one son Chandrabhanu. Chandrabhanu is not an adherent to his father's tradition and has no quality as his father. His hot tempered character creates problems in life. The astrologer is much worried about the nature of his life. Astrologer predicts the love of Chandrabhanu with a girl. But Chandrabhanu had taken decision not to make love in life. Anyhow, in flow of time they became lovers rest is the story of Ezham Suryan. The role of Unnikrishan Namboothiri handled by the veteran actor Sai Kumar, while Unni Mukundan gives life for Chandrabhanu. Mahalakshmi comes in the role of his lover.

The shooting of the movie is almost completed and will be released soon.
