Nikesh Kumar's Reportor TV ready to be launched on May 11,2011
M V Nikesh Kumar was a good presentor of news and through his skill he has been able to capture the minds of many of the malayalees . His tenure in Indiavision has made his skills all the better .

Lets see what he can do with a news channel amidst all the malayalee news channels coming from different political backgrounds and having a long good history of journalism , namely Manorama , Indiavision , People and many others .

Doctors strike in Kerala : Reasons for the strike and its impact on the patients
The government should be more responsible and should handle things keeping the fact in mind that it is the common man who is suffering from these actions .

Why would the doctors go for such strikes simply . It surely shows the government's lack of handling skill.

Talking about the ethics , though this is a godly profession , those things do not matter these days much . To be precise , even the profession of a person who sells bottled water on the streets is godly , owing to the fact that he quenches the thirst of many . But he too will stop his profession if he can't find expected returns from it .

So the government should see to it seriously . The inactive game played by the government now is surely because it will not give them any returns on the election front .

List of Engineering Colleges in Kerala

There is a deemed university which offers undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses - National Institute of Technology , Calicut .
The institute is premier in this regard and admissions are under three categories :
1 : Through merit list of AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Examination
2 : DASA scheme - Direct Admission to students abroad
In this scheme students studying sbroad and who have obtained rank in the SAT exam can apply . The fees is higher compared to the Indian students .
3 : Foriegn Nationals are also given some seats .

The campus placements are 100% for many departments and the institute has a vibrant atmosphere . Students are conducting technical fest - Tathva and cultural fest - Ragam every year , where students come from all the engineering colleges in Kerala to participate .

Osama Bin Laden Dead Body Fake Photos Projected
It seems that the pictures of the dead Osama Bin Laden that have appeared over the net turn out to be fake phots . Comparing with an opriginal phot of Laden it can be easily understood that the photo os a morphed one .

US president Barack Obama has decided that photos of Laden will not be published . He enlists the following reasons for his decision :
1 : The photos are very fearsome and frightening .
2 : The photos could provoke the terrorist all over the world and hence that could lead to another attack .

Not publishing even one photo of dead Bin Laden arises suspicion but the reasons given could be true as well . The mystery behind the operation still has to inveil itself .

Mohanlal's China Town- New Malayalam movie Preview and Release date
Chinatown is a commercial movie starring three great actors off the malayalam movie industry - Mohanlal , Dileep and Jayaram .

Starting off from a flashback , the movie slowly slides to the present tense and introduces the three actors slowly , deeply describing their character and their goals in life . The presentation has deeply enphasised on inducing humour in the audience and many a time this effort has gone in vain , by creating a void or silence in the theatres , when a laughter is expected .

Suraj Venjaramudu , who has turned out to be the 'Vadivelu' in the malayalam movies , has played his role in an optimum way , however it is not worth a good appreciation .

The story of the movie tends to lag and it is not being able keep its audience along in the time frame .

Atlast in order to bring a twist for the climax , a sumo wrestler is introduced , and the scope of inducing laughter out of his body shape has been utilised to a great extent .

The main backdrop of the movie is that iit has concentrated a lot on comedy and thus the focus on the movie's main story is lost . The thread for the movie could have been developed into a thriller and that would surely have a better audience , owing to the presence of such great actors , acting in combo .

Endosulfan Tragedy in Kerala-Need of Ban on Endosulfan
Banning endosulfan is the need of the hour taking into account the sufferings of the people in and around the kasaragod cashew nut estates .
But simply banning it will not give any good . Heavy black marketing will come also for endosulfan as it is much basic a need for the estate farmers .
the decision taken at Stokholm is a good sign for the world but then taking decision is just a guide to the path for well being , it should be implemented well too . there should come a good substitute for the pesticide which is as cheap
Moreover the HIL public Limited which produces about one eighth of the endosulfan in india and which is run by state of Kerala should think of starting the production of some other useful chemical rather than such poisonous substances .

Urumi is indeed a very good movie . It has a good mix of simplicity and and apt use of technology . The appearance of Pirthvi Raj is also astonishing and new . This epic film is going to rock in the box office and no doubt , all the 70 theatres of Kerala where this film has been released , are house full .

Manju Warrier and Samyuktha Varma returns back with Mammooty in Laljose Film
The return of the star actresses of malayalam movie industry is a good sign for the growth of this industry in the best path . More and more movies should be produced which have lead women roles . We malayalees should watch such movies which concentrate more on stark reality and less on technology gimmicks and star values . Only then there is any scope that we will be able to nurture our movie industry to that glory where it once stood . The distance between parallel cinema and commercial cinema has to come down . The production of a cinema should have some meaning and it should have some strong message to give to the society . Otherwise all is in vain
A movie should be able to produce an imprint on the viewer's mind . It is not only for a two and half hour entertainment .
